September ramble

subject: Long Version of Debbie's catchup!

September 4, 2004 What else needs discussing? I've spent this week diligently writing replies to letters. When you get them, they probably will have a date at the top, which says when I actually composed the letter. Right now I am sitting on some letters which I wrote as far back as July 7. But slowly but surely I am getting through the pile.

I can't imagine how celebrities deal with millions of fan mail.

hmm... I'd really like to say something meaningful and clever so as to write something good in this email. I've been kind of in a clever thoughts drought though. I have not done a lot of self contemplation of late. I haven't updated my mission statement. I haven't made any new plans with my portfolio, or heck, even with my bank statement. I have thought about, but not actually put my money where my mouth is, as far as charitable donations of late. This is probably a good time to do all of these things.

Also due is a short summary, at least, my road trip, for everyone's listening / reading pleasure. At the very least I should compose it so that I can consider sending it. Sigh sigh sigh.
The only way that that is going to happen is if I were to write a drastically shortened version. Well, we'll see what I end up with.
