A quick little something.

So here I am in Sydney. Temporarily staying at a place with a very entertaining Greek landlord, while applications put in for an awesome one bedroom place in the heart of inner Sydney. Still keeping the fingers crossed for that. It has a charming little terrace which will be great for entertaining in, maybe having a little potted plant garden, or hanging a bird feeder!

We had dinner with a friend tonight, who was very inspiring, when she spoke of her career as a singer and all the projects that she has done and the connections she has made for her career. In fact it was so inspiring that I just spent about an hour just now, describing the dinner, as well as writing down my own ideas for my own career and plans as far as that end goes. I am really looking forward to this.

Yesterday, I mailed the agency-that-didn't-say-no a postcard with my photograph on it, saying hello and that I was in town and would be calling upon them. As soon as all of the suitcases have been opened in whatever apartment, and I can find my nail clippers to cut my raggedy nails! I will definitely be stopping by. And I bought awesome shoes today, spent a fortune, which I rarely ever do, but they were exactly what I have been hunting for, very tall work shoes with a discreet little platform under my toes to make me appear taller without appearing to try, and I knew I'd have to fork over the money when I found the perfect ones. I also saw black high heeled spike pumps, which I was tempted to get, but I'm probably going to buy used ones for those. I had a great pair that I got in Goodwill at home for $6.

So those are adventures of me. I still don't have internet, and probably will have to wait a couple of days after the apartment is settled and decided upon, but I thought I'd throw in this quick thing. What about you? Write and tell all.
