Well, it's been two months since my last post. So as far as the "stickiness" of this blog, I'm failing miserably. Ah well. Thank goodness for Google Reader?
I'm writing this post in Blogger, rather than my usual long winded things in notebook, save, come back to, et cetera. I figure at the end of my ramble today, no matter how short, disorganized, or boring!-- I'll reach for that little button that says "publish post" and something new will finally be on the main page.
I'm a feast-or-famine writer, that's all I can say (or should it be drought-and-flood?). I write in spurts. When I get a chance, I'll write four novel-sized entries in two days. Then you won't hear from me for a while.
I suppose I should catch you up on all the things in my life since my last few posts. Full time work is taking up a lot of my time. I'm working at a call center afternoon-to-evenings as a customer service rep for a cable company. Australian business, I tell ya. Sigh. It's towards the side of horrific, so I won't waste much more time here complaining about it, it's not even worthy of that. The pros of the job-- low responsibility, and I can easily give away shifts or arrange for a few days off to do things.
We've had lots of visitors over the last two months. Our friend from Sydney has just gone home to Japan after spending two weeks visiting with us. My sister has been flitting about the country using here as her base. Other friends and family stay over often, especially since there is a spare room here.
The veggie patch has been a success! There have been tons of tomatoes, and the last harvest was made Saturday of all the remaining red tomatoes and that will be made into delicious yummy tomato sauce. There's also lettuce seeds growing, and the mystery plant Twoie has lots of purple flowers.
I even have a worm farm! I've just harvested all the worm compost yesterday. There are a grillion fat and happy worms in there. We'll see how happy the plants get with their serving of worm food. I've also been doing a lot of study on the matter. I recommend that everyone gets a worm farm! They eat TONS, in fact more than half of the food in this house goes straight into the wormery-- think of all the dumpster space that can save!
What else? Time to clean the house again.
P.s. I mentioned Google Reader earlier. It's especially awesome if you like to keep up with a couple of blogs, say at least four, and there are people like me that don't post every few days (or months, ha). Anyway, instead of forgetting to come back here and visit, Google Reader looks at all of the blogs you like to keep up with, and lets you know which ones have been updated. So if it's the first time in two months that someone's posted, they'll let you know, meanwhile, the other lazy bloggers have written a few sentences in the last couple of months too, so you'll remember to go to Reader often, even if you don't come here! :)
Lots of hugs,
Debs
