"In the year 3000 Yt, Tw, and Fb will merge into one super-time-wasting website called 'You Twit Face'"
Don't know who said it, but it made me laugh.
I hate the new privacy settings. I especially dislike that I no longer have control over who I can friend. Frankly, except for my bio family and ship family who are scattered around the world, anyone else can pick up the phone and call me. If you and I haven't exchanged communication in over two years, unless you're in one of those other two categories, I'm probably not going to respond to your request if you don't at least write a message in the request or something. If we didn't exchange at least two conversations when we were living/working/going to school in the same place, then we weren't really friends, in fact, I don't know why you bothered, you didn't probably like me back then, I don't really like you now. I think it's great to keep in touch with people you are ACTUALLY FRIENDS with, and if you start to put every acquaintance from every job and every school you've ever been to, your 600 friends are going to be a huge black hole time waster. I have too many of those in my life as it is.
and speaking of which-- total internet embargo until next week, going off line now... I might check email only to see if I have email from my midterm producing professors, but other than that-- signing offffff!
