Heroes

You should know that the two people who have become my all time heroes in the last couple of years:

One is Ida B. Wells, who I've mentioned before, and I highly recommend you read at least her short one-page history on Rejected Princesses. The reason I recommend the RP treatment is because it is one of the few summaries that does not sanitize her accomplishments. Secondarily I recommend the youth-level biography on her by Dennis and Judith Fradin, it's out of print but you should be able to find it in the library.

The other one, if you look her up, just do a search for "evangelical climate scientist", her name is basically the only one who comes up. I think she is doing incredible work in bridging the divide in partisan climate discourse.

Learn everything you can about these women, learn from them, etc.
